Sagus International, Inc., co-sponsored the 21st Century Educational Campus Symposium, July 27-28, aimed at establishing a blueprint for tomorrow’s schools. The symposium attracted some of the best minds in education, architecture, sustainable design, technology, health care and government. The discussions centered on the development of a framework for 21st century school campuses that focus on students’ total needs, prepare America’s youth to compete in the global economy, and serve dually as community centers. In Our Schools: "Creating a Campus for the 21st Century"

This special In Our Schools presentation was produced on ETV September 13, 2009 and focuses on what the public and private sector are doing in partnership to look to the future in terms of what an educational campus should be like in the 21st century. How can we incorporate the comprehensive needs of each student while also focusing on changing technologies, teaching strategies, curriculum, and more? How can our schools become energy efficient? How do we encourage active community participation? In short, how do we move our public schools into the 21st century?
