Saddlebrook High School, Saddlebrook, NJ

One of LSI's specialty products, ProLab, was selected for
the Saddlebrook High School renovation because of its
unique design and performance qualities. Our partnering dealer, Dean
Equipment, worked with Design Resources Group in development of the science
classrooms, adding the design spark to an otherwise older
building. This project success has led to ProLab being specified
on similar projects, and has become a "signature design" for
other architectural firms, as well.
Here are the unique key design features of ProLab:
- Natural wood face: aesthetics and ambiance in a specifiable
choice of oak, birch, maple, cherry and teak. Laboratory-grade finish.
-
Laminate modular body: unlike conventional “wood casework,” all
cabinet body interior surfaces are highly-cleanable and stain-resistant
thermofused melamine in color choices of white or black.
- Flush door design: unlike “conventional” overlay-door cabinet designs,
the LSI flush door system features extended end panels that are flush with the
door/drawer face and trimmed with high-impact 3mm edging.
- Rugged: all interior body; divider, and shelf edges feature the same
high impact 3mm edge treatment as the exterior.
